Terms and Conditions - Sutra Studio

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Sutra Studio website and/or engaging in any of its services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services.

2. Services Offered

Sutra Studio provides a range of professional photography and videography services, including but not limited to studio photography, video production, post-production editing, product photography, commercial advertising shoots, textile and fabric photography, fashion lookbooks, promotional video creation, and digital content for weaving and textile brands. The specifics of each service will be detailed in individual service agreements or proposals.

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing clear briefs, necessary access to locations, and timely feedback. Any delays caused by insufficient client input may affect project timelines and costs. Clients also warrant that they hold all necessary rights and permissions for any materials (e.g., products, models, design concepts) provided to Sutra Studio for use in projects.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be outlined in each service agreement. A deposit may be required to commence work, with final payment due upon completion or as per the agreed-upon milestones. All quoted fees are in AED unless otherwise specified. Invoices are payable within 30 days of receipt.

5. Intellectual Property and Usage Rights

Unless otherwise agreed in a separate contract, Sutra Studio retains the intellectual property rights to all photographic and videographic works created. Clients are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the final deliverables for the purpose specified in the service agreement (e.g., website, social media, print advertising). Any extended usage rights or transfer of full copyright must be negotiated and agreed upon in writing.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations or rescheduling of confirmed bookings must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations may incur a fee. Specific cancellation policies will be detailed in the individual service agreements.

7. Limitation of Liability

Sutra Studio strives to deliver high-quality services. However, in no event shall Sutra Studio be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the service; (iii) any content obtained from the service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the Federal laws of the United Arab Emirates as applicable therein, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes to Terms

Sutra Studio reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any new terms take effect. By continuing to access or use our website or services after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the service.
